Is a casino app a different product from the casino website?

No. It is the same account, balance and terms in a different container. What differs is the store gate before installation, the login kept on the device, the storage and data it uses, and the permission sheet.

What can a casino app actually see on my phone?

Only what its permission sheet lists and only while the relevant screen is open: a file you choose, a picture you take in the app, the country the phone is in, and a resettable advertising identifier. It cannot read contacts, messages or other apps’ data.

Do I have to grant the permissions to play?

No. On the sample app none of the six permissions is needed to place a bet, deposit or withdraw. Five of them move the same step to the website or to an email, and the sixth needs no replacement.

How long does a casino app keep me signed in?

Up to 30 days of not opening it on the sample, refreshed every time the app opens. A phone used monthly stays signed in; a phone left in a drawer is signed out after a month.

Can I sign out of one device without changing my password?

Yes. Each device holds its own session token and each can be revoked separately, which takes effect the next time that device calls the server - at most 15 minutes on the sample.

How much data does a casino app use?

A 42.0 MB package, an 18.0 MB lobby and about 2.4 MB per game on the sample, so a first session of about 81.6 MB and a month of about 182.4 MB. It occupies 102.0 MB of the phone, of which 60.0 MB is a cache you can clear.

Who is allowed to send me push notifications?

The app, and only if you granted the notification permission on the device. It is a setting, not a contract: it can be withdrawn in the phone’s settings at any time, and doing so changes nothing about the account.

Does the app store verify that the operator holds a licence?

No. A store checks a declaration, a category, an age rating and the entity submitting the build. The licence is checked by the regulator, and a store listing is evidence that the app exists, not that operating it is permitted.

Can an update change the terms I agreed to?

No. A build can change the interface, add a permission prompt or change the behaviour of the app. The account terms, the balance and the odds live on the operator’s side and change only when the terms themselves change.

What happens to my account if I delete the app?

Nothing. Deleting the app removes 102.0 MB, a session token and a notification token. The account, the balance, any running bonus and any unrequested withdrawal stay exactly as they were, and a withdrawal still has to be requested.
